Yesterday we met several of our friends at Pat’s Peak in New Hampshire for a day of snow-filled fun. I spent the morning snowboarding with Ryan and then finally decided that maybe it wasn’t for me. I traded in my board for some trusty skis and hit the slopes again. It wasn’t that I didn’t like snowboarding, I really did. It’s definitely hard and the falling is more frequent and more painful but it seems way more social. You always see 2 or 3 snowboarders half way down the mountain just sitting and talking, I liked that about it. But I liked being able to keep up with the group much more. Being able to stay with all of my friends and not feel like I was holding them back was worth it. Oh, and I didn’t have to stay on the same boring green trail all day long!
