And it was raining. And cold. We had perfect spots to stand, right up against the gate directly in front of one of the guard posts. There was a lot of walking and marching and yelling and all of that. Then the guards band came out to perform we couldn&#8217;t help but laugh when they started to play &#8216;New York, New York&#8217; by Frank Sinatra. <\/p>\n<p>The whole time we were there people in the crowd kept saying that because the flag was flying it meant the Queen was inside. I&#8217;d heard that too but wasn&#8217;t sure if it was really to be believed.
