This weekend was the perfect fall weekend. So my friends and I did the perfect fall things. We went on a hike, went apple picking and carved pumpkins. When we were walking on the hike I found this perfect leaf. I looked and looked for another one that was as vibrant but never found anything even close.

I have 3 modes of transportation. A bike, a moped and a VW Beetle. Let me go ahead and tell you about the last 3 weekends of my life. Three weekends ago my bike had 2 flat tires. I had to replace the tubes in each one before it was ready to get back on the road. The following weekend I had to put new tires on my moped because apparently they were old or something. Then this weekend, my beloved bug decided to have a heart attack and start spewing smoke. The bike was an easy fix, the moped took me a little out of my comfort zone but there is absolutely no way I’m touching the bug.

As usual, our Labor Day picnic turned into a photo shoot. I have no idea who actually hit the button on the camera, but we had a great time and these cool photos were the result. Ryan drew the bicycle, Kat drew the wings and Kat and Todd were responsible for my knight attire.

I have a moped. Only because my boy friend has mopeds, but still…there is one that I call mine. I mainly ride it to work but I’ve taken it out on a few joy rides too. When it came time for the 2010 Boston Moped Rally I thought maybe I could get out of it. I mean, I’m not nearly as hardcore as some of these dudes are. But Ryan talked me into it and I was shocked at how much fun I had. 75 peds riding down Commonwealth Ave was a total spectacle, I’m glad I got to be a part of it.
